When I am a guest at a convention I am there to entertain people and add to the fun they have at the event. thus, unless the game session is advertised as one where the objective is to kill the PCs--and I've done a few of those--I try to keep PCs alive. Of course if a player doesn't want to have his character survive, the natural selection process of the game environment will take over.

Because World of Warcraft has been the leading culprit in dumbing down the genre to make it easy enough for the mainstream audience who has never heard of an MMO before to hop in and enjoy. Now, this isn't necessarily bad. But the soaring popularity of World of Warcraft has pigeonholed the entire industry into creating clones in order to be successful.

There was a ghost of some kind that was fairly specific about only me going in now that I think of it. I can't see how that's relevant, but I don't want someone else getting hurt for this. I'll call if I need help or I'll come back."

With that Kheldim heads into the temple on the way towards the altar (I didn't get the impression the temple was tiny?) with a blaster in hand.

(If that came close to a darkside point you definitely would have given me one if you didn't give me some basic info. Kheldim hates the empire for the destruction of his homeworld, his family and his time as their prisoner.)
(Btw, if the altar was nearby then Kheldim will just destroy it with a blaster if possible. I was under the impression this was to be a longer delve into here originally which is why I was going to wait for the others.)

Nope you waste the alter with your blaster, nothing special. It wasn't that far from the entrance. Since this is the forum RP I would allow you change your actions if it warranted a dark side point. In live games I mostly ask if you are sure you want to do this.

There was some time issues when I separated everyone. The battle with Ecic/Rory/Sabby/Dashade would have taken a while and with Ecic playing around with them in the jungle. Top that off with the distance away put them a few minutes after your short conversations with the traders and wasting the techs. I was just going to say when you destroy the alter is when Rory/Sabby returned.

Bob on the other hand is out in la la land until someone else finds him.

So on that note.

Rory and Sabby get back to the temple and you are waiting outside for them. We have not heard from Rage in a while. He is supposed to arrive in 10 minutes. That was the time calculated from where he landed.

And if we don't hear soon from Rage we should go find him. He probably fell asleep while walking here. It wasn't like he landed that far away."

Well, you know what is in there, you are allowed to go everywhere in the temple.

Sabby will head into the temple and look around. When he sees the alter and recognizes its similarities to the previous one that had been encountered.

Sabby looks at Rory, ((Assuming he came in also)) "Does this thing look familiar to you also? It looks like the one we trapped the last spirit in we got rid of. If it is....I think we just made a big mistake and underestimated our dear friend."

Rory: "Lets go find Rage."

Rory gets in his speeder and waits for anyone else that wants a ride.

It won't take us long to get to rage. However we still have a days travel to get back.

The traders get in their speeder and offer Khel a ride.

Rory destroys any speeder that isn't being taken.

And boom we find Rage, humming in a clearing by himself.
