((I don't know about you guys, but this is probably one of the best forum games we've had. I'm having TONS of fun with this.))
The one trader (I'm tempted to call him Joe but I decided against it) says hell yea and pulls up his newly acquired blaster rifle, cocks it clumsily, then drops it. It doesn't fire but his face turns red and the other traders laugh at him. He picks up the gun and charges in with you.
You annihilate the engineers. They are no contest what so ever. The device they were building is almost finished. Looks like some type of trip wire cage thing. The cage is made of a metal you've never seen.

(Doh! Meant to say don't kill them all, but oh well. As for challenge I figured they wouldn't be too much but one never knows what they have readied. Better to draw your enemy on your terms than to enter on theirs.)

(You may not have wanted to kill them, but your trader friends sure would have taken more convincing to not what to gut them. lol,, lets compromise.... You hear moaning from one of the techs, the traders eyes gleam and they take off for the last tech.)

I'd like a word with him first.", cautions Kheldim as he walks over and kicks away the technician's weapon before resting a boot against his neck. He takes a quick look for any other weapons and to ascertain his condition. " I've had a hell of a day over the last 24 hours so I'm not in the mood for games. What are you here for?". Kheldim applies pressure with his boot a little for emphasis. |

The traders look eager to just finish this guy off. The tech only says he was here to plant this trap. He describes it as a simple install involving hidden trip wires. Oh and he knows nothing of the metal.

Rage is hoofing it.
He already landed before he realized he could just jump out of the X-wing and let it crash in a glorious inferno.
he will see you guys in an hour or two....
Although who knows what he will run into...
((Rage is pretty MIA for a bit. It's only cause Paul wanted me to jump out and Crash with a Glorious inferno! MUHHAAA. I would have but we will just go this route. ))
Rage: (on comlink) This is commander firestalker to all surrounding NR troops...I need to be picked up on a jungle speeder or another form of transport and dropped at the temple. If your ETA is going to be longer then 25 mins to get to me then forget it...ill walk. Otherwise, you have your orders.

While carrying out one of the dead technicians with the first trader, "Your men are free to go and I wish you good luck, but if you've a mind for a different line of work I have found myself a bit of luck that might be to your advantage as well seeing how you are one of the few traders in these parts with an honest reputation that is deserved. I'm to be given my own ship with the New Republic. Yeah, hard to believe isn't it? I'm sure that the republic will help supply technicians as needed. They're good at that, but I doubt a one of them has a nose for trading in the least. I could use someone who could help keep both our pockets lined that I don't have to worry about shooting me in the back. And besides..we'll get to kill imperials and I have a feeling you'll eager for that. What do you think? Care to leave this rock behind?"
(Btw..was is his name? I am guessing we already know each other enough for that?)

A short conversation later you mentioned you were given a YT-1300, the four offer to be your crew.
Osulu starts walking to the alter and says: "Well lets finish this thing off.....captain" He heard that is why you are here.
