Trip Back to Yavin RP - NEXT GAME

Since I'm bored and wanted to rationalize what is going on with Rory I wanted to conduct a little forum Role Play on the return trip from Kashyyyk.

Once we return to the Prime we enter hyperspace returning to Yavin. The trip is 1 day and 14 hours.

Rory is pacing frantically around in the hanger. He looks over at Rage and Sabby and growls under his breath. He then walks over to a cargo crate and kicks it rather hard.

After kicking the crate he walks up to Sabby and says, I'll be in your lab, I need to focus on things and borrow some of your tools.

He holds out the pieces of the sabers he captured off the Trandoshans then walks off.

Fenrir approaches the group and says, "he gets like that when he is upset with himself."

Rory walks into the lab and begins to construct another light saber.

Roll to create the saber was a 33, DC was 20. Crystal was Ilum and was found in another saber. The hilt is almost the same as his purple saber, but the blade is green. There is plenty of time for him to create the saber and have fenrir add the same mods as his purple saber, a fiber cord, and a cloak.

Any attempts to talk to Rory during the 24 hours to create the saber are ignored.

His battle with Bossk has sent him down a different path then originated. In game terms the new saber has a higher attack roll, but lower damage. He wants to have better options against different opponents. He has also forgone triple attack and taken more force powers. With the new understanding that the double attacks takes up the ENTIRE round Rory has decided to learn combat trance. Multiple attacks are great against enemies at lower levels, against higher and it is useless.

[Bob]

Rage flew his RC x-wing around.

From time to time Sabbastian checked on Rory, makeing sure he was ok. Not to disturb him but to check his mental state.

Edit: When we get back to yavin before we leave the ship Sabby has something he has to do thats important for everyone in the group.

After the first time he checked on Rory he approaches Rage.

"Why are you messing around with the toy xwing right now, and not getting some practice with one of the training aids? Theres the training remotes, and plenty of ways you can clear your mind. Also, you need to be more carefull with yourself. Your infected with the zombie disease, you can't just go having sex with every women you want. Your going to turn them into zombies."

[Bob]

"Hey! I got 7,500 credits for that lay. But your right master...I need to be a stronger warrior and I know you see great potential in me. I will try to do better"

Rage practices meditating in mid air with concentration, meditation and move object.

"I want you to do more then just meditate. I want you to spend 4 hours a day between the training remotes, duels, and hand to hand combat. You need to learn what your body can and can't do. With this plague effecting you, you do not know what might change and you need to be ready for anything."

[Paul]

Rory makes a comment about him knowing how to do it very well, according to all the ladiees he is racking up.

[Paul]

We land on Yavin and go to the council immediately. As we enter the council we see Anakin and Ktygaavh waiting anxiously for our arrival. Rory hands the holocron to Anakin then sits down on his chair. Anakin ushers everyone else to do the same. Anakin tries in vain to activate the holocron and looks over at Sebastian.

Anakin: “I know you didn’t break it on the way here, so how did you get this to work. I can feel the force from within it.”

Anakin hands the holocron to Sebastian and it comes to life, voice only. The voice talks about the power and glory of this sith and welcomes you back Lord Calamitous.

Moments later Luke and Vael-Zek rush into the council with a deeply wounded Califonea.

Rory says under his breath something about the dramatic effect seems rather silly when taking Califonea to a bacta tank should be the first place to take him.

Sabbastian almost seems lost in the holocron for a moment before he notices the wounded Califonea. He hands the Holocron back to Anakin and mumbles something about he didn't do it.

[Paul]

Luke: “It was one of the most brave and stupidest things I’ve ever witnessed. We were surrounded by Dashade and rather then using his wit and intelligence with the force to talk his way out of the situation, Califonea decided to act out of character and charge head long into the Dashade. Vael-Zek and I had no choice but to respond to his carelessness. I was so upset that I wanted to throw my chance dice at him.”

Sabbastian "Will he make it? Or are his wounds too much for even bacta to save him?"

[Paul]

Luke:"He will survive, but I think a talk is in order."

[Paul]

We have two days of down time (for New Republic preparations) before we travel back to the Harrin Trade Corridor.

The council has asked for an emergency meeting for an entire 24 hours of meditation to unlock the holocron. The cube will only activate for Sebastian, so he will activate the cube and the other members (Including Rage) will try to meditate on the cube to further unlock the mysteries.

The council doors are to be kept closed and only council members and Rage are allowed in.

Califonea is healed and is joining the council. Once everyone has arrived Luke addresses Califonea.

Luke: “Your actions were careless and without thought. I do not think it was the will of the force that propelled you into an almost fatal battle with the Dashade. I believe your actions have become reckless and you are starting to ignore your training. Your recent temper tantrums during council meetings have been a concern for the senior members of the council. What we are trying to accomplish is a larger understanding of the force and your inability to communicate effectively without throwing a fit is interrupting everyone’s learning here. We understand that this is the first time in the history of the force that we are trying to incorporate all knowledge of the force into one. With that we will allow you some lee way on your recent actions. However, if you continue down this path of disrespect, pettiness, and your uncooperative behavior you will be asked to step down on the council.”

Califonea: “I’ve had some recent bouts of insomnia that may have been causing my actions to be a little.”

Anakin Interrupting: “That is not an excuse. We’ve have made it clear that we are always here to talk with if you are having problems. I’ve even offered you suggestions on your training that you have ignored.”

Califonea – Rolls Deception check – no words just takes out a chance cube and rolls it on the council floor.

Luke:”What are you doing?”

Califonea looks around and stands up. Making a complete fool out of himself he runs out of the council chambers.

Luke: ”Should we go after him?”

Anakin: “What is this, a relationship? He is grown…um…man.. Leave him be. Rage, for now take his seat. We have more important things to do then coddle someone that isn’t getting their way.”

The meditation begins.

The entire night is spent on the holocron. It was rather uneventuful because every time we asked it a question it would either shut down or give a retorical answer.

Califonea returned and asked for a sabbatical.

The council has granted it. For the time being Rage will sit in as proxy.

[dan]

Sabbastian: "Masters, I have a strange feeling that the holocron will not give up any secrets while there are those of the lighter side of the Force here in the room. If it will only activate for me, perhaps it will answer questions only when I'm alone with it. I know this could be very risky though."

[Paul]

After the failed night of trying to get a better understanding of the holocron the council retired for a few hours to rest up. The New Republic Senate will be in session at mid day and the council members have an open invitation to participate. Senator Jarepi plans to address the senate on the progress of the liberation of her planet, and the progress of the plague that infects her aide Pemi.

The holocron is kept locked away in the council chambers.

Rory and Ktygaavh plan to attend the mid day session of the Senate. Anakin and Luke are attending other duties. The Prime we will be ready for launch very late evening.

Rage and Sebastian feel a slight disturbance in the force. You both feel an unusual presence on the planet. For Sebastian the presence is familiar, but different and more sinister (PM Sent). Your attempts to locate the presence fail but the last contact you felt from this presence lead you to believe he is approaching the council chambers.
