Assuming Sabby isn't in the council chambers.

Sabbastian takes off at a full sprint towards the council chambers. As hes running he sends a message to Rory, Luke, Anakin, Ktygaavh, and Rage via the force of the disturbance he has felt. "Theres something wrong with _______(Can't remember his name atm). I sense him here on Yavin, but the presense is....much darker then it once was. Hes heading to the council chambers. I'm on my way now. I will let you know whats going on when I get there. Rage I want you to meet me there now."

As Sabbastian approaches the council chambers..... (I will leave the next part up to you paul, or via pm let me know what he sees and that.

Because World of Warcraft has been the leading culprit in dumbing down the genre to make it easy enough for the mainstream audience who has never heard of an MMO before to hop in and enjoy. Now, this isn't necessarily bad. But the soaring popularity of World of Warcraft has pigeonholed the entire industry into creating clones in order to be successful.

There is no one in the council. The lights are dim and nothing is happening.

The other council members reply with no concern. Your instructions are to confront him openly about his intentions and act according to how you feel,,,,scratch that how the council would respond.

About 25 minutes later – He walks into the council chambers with Vael-Zek.

When I am a guest at a convention I am there to entertain people and add to the fun they have at the event. thus, unless the game session is advertised as one where the objective is to kill the PCs--and I've done a few of those--I try to keep PCs alive. Of course if a player doesn't want to have his character survive, the natural selection process of the game environment will take over.

Before they enter, assuming Rage beats them to the room.
Sabby: "Rage, I dont want you to do anything right away, just....watch and help if something goes wrong. Something is defently wrong here and I don't want you to get into anything that could be a problem. If he starts anything your to contact the other council members."

As the door opens and both Vael and Tony enter Sabby is sitting medatiating in his seat. He stands up and says "Hello Vael, Tony. Anything I can help you two with today?"
(Yeah I forgot Vael. But this should be fun.)

((Yea, I metagamed it a bit to rush things along, Rage made it there.))

They both look at you and Rage. T Char takes out his saber and ignites it, as does Vael-Zek.

TChar: "We must purge the council of evil. The dark side must be purged."
Vael-Zek: "Yea, what he said!"
TChar: "Shut Up"
Vael-Zek: "Yea, what he said!"

For game terms they rolled their deception, and failed. The are using the excuse you are evil to kill you and take off with the holocron. They are only pretending to be so self righteous.

Vael-Zek: "Yea, what he said!"

Sabby nods at Rage and then pulls out his saber. "You don't want to do this. You guys are not acting as yourselves. You say you want to rid the council of evil, but it is you who are possessed. Lower your weapons or we will be forced to defend this council and ourselves."

Waiting for their first move at Sabbastian he takes up a defensive stance. Also reading himself to use the powers of the force to help him.

Rage grins, and draws his saber sneakly...keeping it hidden and ready to be ignited in a millisecond if needed. He takes a step back though so he is behind his master....letting his experienced master take the lead as instructed.

In his head he says to Sabby.
"I'll hang back and let you lead as ordered master...but just so you know where I stand...I'm ready to win or die master!"

Sabbastian sends a message to the other members of the council as to what has just happened. Including the death of Kato, Vael getting away, and a recomendation to do a lock down on all departures or inspections on all ships leaving the system.

He walks over to Kato's body and checks him before collecting his lightsaber. "Rage are you alright?"

He looks over at Califonea and Alegnia, "Thank you both for coming. Your brother, there was something odd with him, more so then he normally was. He attacked first and we defended ourselves and the council chamber."

Rage: *grins* Never been better....(to the woman) sorry about Keto I didnt know he was your brother to kill. (in his head to his master)
And master...that was my kill, I don't go looting the Jedi you and Rory kill man :-P I would like his saber given to the woman if she wishes. Otherwise I want it as a trophy of my kill.

OOC: Keto? who is Keto? I thought we were fighting T Char. Did you just decide to rename him?

To Rage in his head "The saber will be given to Masters Luke, Anakin or Ktygaavh. We dont know for sure if this is his sister. Also, we do destory most sabers we collect off of the dead, for purposes of study and spare parts. We do have more possible padawans that will need lightsabers later."

Sabbastian will also look around the room to see if anything else is missing, other then the hole in the floor.
