Ktygaavh and Rory arrive about 10 minutes later. Nothing is missing.

Ktygaavh: "That is his sister. The other members of the council have been notified. Rory, I think either you or some of your other New Republic friends can take care of the floor."

Rory speaks into his comlink and moments later Fenrir and a New Republic repair team arrives.

Ktygaavh: "Califonea I'm glad your sebaticle hasn't taken you too far away. So who wants to explain what happened?"

When I am a guest at a convention I am there to entertain people and add to the fun they have at the event. thus, unless the game session is advertised as one where the objective is to kill the PCs--and I've done a few of those--I try to keep PCs alive. Of course if a player doesn't want to have his character survive, the natural selection process of the game environment will take over.

Rory: "They have not voted yet, but they are set to do so in the next few days. All of our work would be for nothing if they do so. They feel that the locals should be able to handle themselves at this point. There hasn't been any major victories or losses for either side of that war."

Ktygaavh: "You know Alegnia, Rage is infected with the Harrin Plague. Chances are he spread it to you."

Rage: *eyebrow raised* did Sabby put you up to this? If not...ill gladly take a look at your selection.

*To himself* Khan and the Prime are going to be grounded for a while due to some affairs he needs to take care of here. I will not be needed on the bridge for a while, and I am sure their will be many Jedi missions before Kahn is done with his desk matters. That damn Ferrel....well at least it's an excuse for me to get an X-wing...maybe Rory and Sabby will help me out...

Out of character: Sorry I played DM a little bit (Paul you can edit this post to what the actual facts are if you dont like what I made up), but its true that Kahn and the prime will be grounded for a while without Jim or Kyle. Great opportunity for me to get an X-wing!

As soon as I took upon the dakr power...I became a being of darkness. Only my son's sacrifice was able to redeem me...and in his efforts...I was turned to light. Sabby walks in the darkness, without corruption..without fear. It's amazing to me.

Anakin: The reason why Sabby is so important is he is not motivated by greed or hate, yet all the fierce power of the Sith is his to command. I tried to wield the dark-side for good and wrought only destruction. He in many ways is gifted...just dont let him know I said that...keep that between us.

Beware of the Darkside young Rage, but do not fear it. Someday you might even want to embrace it. Only under Sabbys supervision do I recommend it. Even I cannot withstand that evil like he can....

((Nice - At this rate Rory is set to be the best lightsaber duelest EVER. I advanced him to level 20 once and he was above both Yoda and Mace Windu. Sabby is mostly offensive force, which makes the two of them a very powerful punch. The battle in the council went in your favor by far. You (Rage) were able to block and rebuke someone 4 levels ahead of you due to some nice rolls. I am very pleased with the way this forum RP went. We still have one in game day to go. You still have the Rodian salesmen to deal with Rage.))

On the way back to looking for Rory and Sabby Rage runs into the Rohan salesman AGAIN.

Rage: " look I told you no last time"

Rohan: "Come take a look"

Rage: *sends force message to Rory and Sabby that he is going with the Rohan jsut in case its a trap* "Ok fine!"

This message was sent using the antenna on the top of the cantina.
On the screen is Edgar, he is a bloody and dirty mess. His voice is frantic and he is out of breath.

This is Edgar, please! Is anyone there, I need help. We are getting overrun by zombies and our numbers diminish by the day. Please help!!

He is knocked to one side from behind. When Edgar leaves the camera view there are four zombies standing there. Three of the four zombies go after Edgar as we hear him scream. The fourth looks directly at the screen and says “send more brains.” The signal goes dead from the source.

Anakin Skywalker

Your mission is to rescue Edgar and any survivors. You have 48 hours once you arrive on the planet to find him and as many people as you can. Once that time is up, the planet will be bombarded from orbit. Fenrir has developed a device that will be able to detect the zombies. (We’ve all seen Aliens I hope. Remember those beeping proximity detector things.) You will leave in four hours.

These are the rules for the zombies.

To mix things up a bit I’m going to make the rules for the zombies a little different than most opponents.

There will be two ways to kill a zombie, the obvious destroy the head and the other is to do enough damage to the body that the zombie can no longer be considered a threat.

When attacking a zombie you must declare if you are attacking the head or the body. I don’t care if I share this information, but the body has a reflex defense of 14 and hit points of 100. The head has a reflex defense of 20 and hit points of 35. Once the body is damaged to the point where it isn’t a threat anyone may do a croup de grace and the zombie will be destroyed or you can just leave it be.

The proximity detector will have the following rules.

It will have two modes; one mode is for searching for people and the others for zombies. In order to switch modes the user must make a successful mechanics check (DC 15) to move the sensor hardware, and a use computer check (DC 15) to reprogram the device. The time to do both tasks it one minute each and the person must have concentration. Each time a person succeeds at the check the next time they try it the time will be reduced by 6 seconds up to a max of 30 seconds. The range is 100m for the device and it works off standard energy clips. The battery life is 3 hours and will take one hour to recharge using the charging unit it comes with. Both devices (the detector and the charger) are the size of a portable DVD player.
