Johan | Captain Crunch's right hand man. Before his murder he buried the painting of the crying boy. |
Jack | The town's foremost cryptologist. His shop is the only one like it in the town. |
Carl | Carl with a C is a low ranking guard. He left his post (by being tricked by Karl with a K and Joe) and found the body of Johan. |
Karl | Karl with a K is another lower ranking guard. From the information gathered he appears to be in on the murder of Johan. His whereabouts are unknown after escaping on a boat flying a flag with a red dragon on it. |
Joe | Joe was the third low ranking guard that shared a post with Carl and Karl. There seems to be some confusion on his allegiance as he was implemented on the invasion plans discovered by the group. |
Things of interest
Painting of the crying boy | Painting that seems to cause fires in the places it is hung but never receives any damage from said fires |
Kobolds | There is a turf battle between a group of kobolds lead by the black dragon Drak and an unknown red dragon. Drak's kobolds have agreed to form an alliance with the town against the other group of kobolds. |
Clergy | The town clergy. They have taken a vast interest in the picture of the crying boy feeling that it is cursed and must be destroyed. |
Scientist | The town scientists. They have taken a vast interest in the picture of the crying boy feeling that it is some form of technology and must be studied. |
The Dagger | The dagger that was used to murder Johan is an intelligent weapon that communicates via telepathy. The dagger said his name is Edgar but others have named it Gungnir after Odin's spear. The dagger was made from a mine by the dwarfs of the south, blessed by the clergy, and crafted by the scientists. There are three black diamond shaped stones in the hilt. The group determined that these stones were magnetic and with the use of a button the dagger will return to the user. (Think captain America's shield) |
