Rage's grand mission

[Bob]

One hour after Rage's last Consul Appearance ....

Setting: the jedi temple, only rage, the skywalkers and the wookie is there. No other consul members know of the meeting

"It's been over a week. And I have brought evidence to this Consol, but my evidence keeps getting ignored. "
Rage darkly states.
"This consul is aware of your feelings and hardwork on this matter Master Firestalker. But as we have said before, the force darkly clouds a warning on our involvement in this matter", the wookie replies.
"So I am being sent away again? And all my evidence is being kept from Rory and Sabby....why?"

The consul looks at each other. (Rory and Sabby are not there)
"Sebastian and Rory know you are working on this matter. Yes, your finding have been kept from them. This consul currently has them working very closly with Admiral Kahn. You on the other hand, despite your Rank in the fleet, are more disposable for black op's missions. Your commanding officer signed over us full control to call on you at any moment, without explanation."

Rage remembered. His new ship, the Void of Twilight and it's captain Jamie Price, were very accommodating to his duties.
But still, he didn't like the assignments the high consul (the skywalkers) were forcing him to do behind Rory and Sabbies back.

"What''s my next mission?" rage Finally asks.
"Your ship is being assigned to raid an imperial spaceport. Lightly gaurded, but critical to new empire operations in the backwater sector. During combat you are going to be dropped onto that spaceport. Steal an imperil Tie fighter and take it to the nearby planet unnamed 47. Your sensors will pick up a large magnetic signature...go there and wait further information" Luke speaks.

"Ok" replies Rage.

"and Master Firestalker. Only you and us know of your true mission...do not tell even the other Jedi" Anakin reminds Rage.

Rage nods and briskly walks out of the hall...on the way he passes PoW.

"not comming with us again Rage? Man they must really not like you..."

Rage keeps walking to his quarters but run's into Sabby.

"Rage, they pull you off your investigation? The last report you gave to the consul about the Vex force attack was over 2 weeks ago...Rory is concerned", Sabby states.

"The consul has stated that my new republic post is more important then my duties to the Jedi...." Rage grumbles.
"Rory disagrees. He doesnt understand why you never come with us anymore. Your always on backwater patrol...it doesn't make sense"
"Well, you guys have PoW now...no need for extra trouble with me I guess. Tell Rory and kahn I said hi when you see them", replies rage.
Rage sighs a sign of relief. He doesn't think Sabby detects any form of deceit. He moves on to his room.

Rage get's to his chambers and logs onto his terminal. His X-wing was damaged in a high profile engadement and either Pow or someone else smashes the warp drive on the skyfire last time they took it out. Both are a few days from repairs. "I cant believe this shit" comments rage. He logs onto his military database and shows that his commanding officer has his vessel set to leave in one hour. He promised Angelina a duel so he would get that done before he leaves for his mission.

He straps up his gear and heads to the training room, which is only a brisk walk, when he arrives he already see's Angelina sparring with Rory. Their lightsapers are clashing with skill and grace that Rage has never seen. Rory clearly has the advantage and is about to easliy win when he makes one simple error which causes his last swing to be positioned wrongly, leaving his defenses down. Angelina strikes with a uppercut and then goes to swing with her saber....Rory blocks but the move throws his footing off and he is forced to step backwards. Angelina swings again ready to land a final blow with her stun saber but Rory's skill shows and he recovers with a skilled block and counter swing and turned the tide back in his favor. He swings again and she falls.

Rory " Nice moves...Rage...care to try?'

Rage" Rory...I thought yuo guys were set to leave already..."

Rory "I spoke to sabby who was upset about you not getting assigned with us yet again, and then we brought it up to Luke...Luke and Sabby are still arguing so the mission is delayed"

Rage: "tell them to stop, we both have jobs to do..."

Rory: " You gave the Atheria the coordinates fror the base Wrex's assasians were working out of. Shouldn't that be enough? Majority of the tratiors have been killed by that strike. "

Rage: " Yes that's why they have me on border patrol."

Rory: "not to mention, the empire doesnt like Wrex either...you guys had the Atheria and a detachment of Stormtroopers raid that base. I rememebr hearing the reports the Vex force took out 73 stromtroopers before the empire finally took that compound."

Rage: "by the way, tell kahn thanks for getting me that intel...after we took the empire up on their offer to backup the Atheria they pretty much ordered us to stay out of the ground operation. We only covered them from the air...chasing pirates was not my idea of a good fight"

Rory nods, "are you ready?" rage ingnites his Saber and the two battle, and Rage is beaten after 7 strokes. However, Rory appears winded..."i had to try really hard that time. Your getting there kiddo" Rory leaves the room.

Rage wakes up on Kashyyyk.


It has been 1 day since Ktygaavh arrived. Battles with the empire have been harsh, but ever since 2 days ago there has been much turning points in the battle which at first appear to be a loss.

"It was just a dream......"

Rage looks at his arm, the infection was getting worse. 3 days ago (around the time the the consul meeting with the chair thing happened) Rage was fighting off hostiles that interrupted his Consul meeting. His attackers were Stormtrooper Patrols, which he thraweted easily and then regrouped with the Wookie Guerrilla units.

The empire pressed hard, and during the battle many wookies were lost, but their lines held. The Vex Force sent a sniper named Trios Rane to hunt down Rage. Rage was hit with a force sensitive bullet that infects force users with schizophrenic disillusion of grander that progress slowly.

Republic doctors know the drug as affecting Rage in this way, but they dont know how to cure it.

Everyday, Rage believes more and more he is the most elite jedi in existence and he is on a secret mission.....and no one knows how to stop the infection....

Rage: "Crazy or not....Vex Force...I will stop you"

Ktygaavh knocks.

Rage: "come in"

Ktygaavh: "how are you feeling Master Firestalker?"

Rage: " Master, so far it has only been dreams of grander. I have had no real life illusions yet...."

Ktygaavh: "let us hope the disease progresses as slowly as they say"

Rage: "I assume you came here for more then just to check on me..."

Ktygaavh: "Rage, we have regained control of most of the planet, but this Alliance between the Empire and the Vex force is puzzling....we think there are spies even on this base....I want you to investigate yourself. Report to the flight hanger at 1600."

Rage nods.

At 1600 Rage reports to the flightdeck, but the officer there has never heard of Rage's dispatch order. Rage begins to suspect something but they the deck officer notices Rage's rank and status and lets him pass to the X-wing area. Rage launches an X-wing.

Rage flies up into the planet to look for signs of Wrex transports operating in the area. Instead he notices an Imperial Transport lightly gaurded. Before he can intercept he gets a transmission.

Ktygaavh: Rage, your orders were to stay grounded and onbase for the next 48 hours.

Rage: What are you talking about? You had a special mission for me...you needed me right away....

Ktygaavh: Do not speak of the mission Rage. It has been called off...return to base immediately.

Rage: I have a weapons lock on me...ill be back when I can.

Dodging enemy gunfire rage decends back on the planet, he is met by a young woman and Ktygaavh.

Ktygaavh: Rage this is Miss Emily, she wants to speak to you about your mission

Emily: rage if you could come with me please...


Note: Wrex is real, as is the Vex Force. The inventor of the drug rage is affected by is employed by Wrex. However Wrex is not involved in every plot, also the Vex Force is under employment by Wrex but also seems to be under employment by the Empire. However the decision to use the posion on Rage was probably an order from Wrex.


Ktygaavh hologram to the Consul: "rage is in treatment but the hallucinations have already set in. All of them are focused on Wrex, and it is turning into an obsession."

Anakin: "Wrex is a threat, but ever since Keldum assisted Rage and the Empire did the co-op operation with us to drive their ships out of close space they have been very inactive. The Vex force working for the empire for the recent battle on Kashyyyk proves this. They accepted more profitable contracts. Wrex is a minor threat compared to the Empire at this point."

Luke: " I disagree, Wrex appears to not even be trying. He is illusive, and he is not reviling much about his capabilities or motives. I think the only way we are to get answers is to let these delusions play out..."

Rage wakes up, he is in bed.....

Rage: "Planet 47.....Planet 47 will have to wait....but I will go there...as soon as this battle on Kashyyyk is resolved. I will find out why my mind is telling me to go there..."
