Thunderous Vigilant

Name: Rage Bliss

Rage is a former Olympic bound Cross country runner who got involved in a fight in another country with some gangster that when exposed to gave him superpowers.

Rage became a hero but he tried to do too much himself and is now being hunted by someone who is bad news. Rage came to look for another heros to help him fight this supervillian.

Because World of Warcraft has been the leading culprit in dumbing down the genre to make it easy enough for the mainstream audience who has never heard of an MMO before to hop in and enjoy. Now, this isn't necessarily bad. But the soaring popularity of World of Warcraft has pigeonholed the entire industry into creating clones in order to be successful.

Rage has heard from people of a Hero known as the "Tank" and went to the goonie town to meet him.

While trying to approach the Tank to ask kim for help he was attacked by another hero called Wolfsbane.

Disjointed and Disappointed that the Tank would not hear him out an that he was attacked he tells the heroes to meet with Thunderous Vigilant at midnight in a last ditch hope. (Thunderous Vigilant- is his hero name)

Wolfsbane blames the Vigilant for casing the Tank to lose a fight he wanted to win really bad. That's why he attacked. (per Dan) But Rage doesn't know this.

The hero with this Talent is very limber and as such gains advantages when under attack. The hero gains a +1 CS when dodging, evading, and escaping.

Martial Arts F-
This form of martial arts concentrates on hitting the pressure points in melee. The hero gains a +1 CS to damage, and blunt hand-to-hand attacks may be resolved on the Edged attacks column.

You need to select two contacts. Contacts are kind of like your buddies on the inside. There is a list in the books for some examples, but they can essentially be anything within reason. A scientist, doctor, law officer, chemist, mystic, etc etc etc

When I am a guest at a convention I am there to entertain people and add to the fun they have at the event. thus, unless the game session is advertised as one where the objective is to kill the PCs--and I've done a few of those--I try to keep PCs alive. Of course if a player doesn't want to have his character survive, the natural selection process of the game environment will take over.

The Cape is only worn when he wants to look cool. In combat he almost always discards it.

More about the Costume

The Helmet is NOT mandatory for the costume of my hero. Although its the BEST for hiding his identity, if he doesnt care about his identity at that point or is short on changing time the HELMET will not be worn.

The suit and boots are. The suit and boots are formed from a liquid metal that oozes out of thunderous skin when he wants to transform.

Thunderous can also form a facemask from this substance. (like this)

but he feels it is lame and rarly uses it.

If he doesn't have his helmet he just wears big Aviator sunglasses. But he almost always wears his helmet out simply because it looks awesome and it does have a few uses.

However he will on occasion just fight with it off and in his mask or his sunglasses.

The Thunderous Viglant has TWO helmets and NO spares. The helmets are made of a lightweight metal and the glass is the same used in the "fishbowl helmet" for the Apollo project.

The helmets can be destroyed and when Rage loses them he loses them.

Rage Bliss pictures

Left Rage bliss in the Tavern encounter. That is exactly how he looked when he fought Wolfsbane.

Right. Rage Bliss in full Civilian clothing. He can still transform but it takes longer and he wouldn't have the body resistance power if he was attacked by surprise. (This is probably how the party will see Rage from now on. This is because Rage Bliss realizes that he will not always wear his helmet so he is trying to look less like the new thunderous (seen below).

New Thunderous. Should make an appearance a few weeks after thunderous establishes himself in Astora.

The gun pictured is a powerful rifle designed by stark industries. It's the best Rifle in the world. Tony stark will probably give one to Rage sooner or later.

A supervillian that is hunting either Rage or Thunderous cannot know they are the same person according to Rage. However its really no harm if a few people know who he is as long as they dont gab about it or publish it in papers.
