The CODA System is a role-playing game system designed by Decipher, Inc. It was first used for their Star Trek Role-playing Game and later, in a modified form, in their Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Game.
Characters are build from attributes, skills and edges (similar to feats in the d20 System). In addition, each character is a member of a class (or more classes). This class will give special abilities and make certain skills easier to train.
Characters will gain experience, which they can later turn into advancements. These can be use to improve their character, e.g. by improving a skill, increasing an attribute or gaining a new ability. More powerful improvements will cost several advancements at once.
The hit point pool of characters is divided into several health levels; each health level of damage receives gives a injury effect to certain actions. In addition, a character also has weariness levels. A character that exerts himself will get a penalty on all actions until he has recovered.
The system uses six-sided dice.

The version I found is incomplete there are pages missing from the pdf. The rest of the file is still downloading and says will take 16 hours to complete. I admit to not being a "pro" when it comes to this kind of thing, so if we are going to play trek then we need to find the rules by decipher (name of the company).
