Hi, my name is Phil, and it's been over ten years since I've had a face to face tabletop rpg experience. I'm hoping to fall off of that wagon very soon.
I'm a 38 year old tattoo artist of over 20 years, I'm married, and have a 3 year old daughter currently living with me. I work nights and weekends, which makes it incredibly hard for me to find time to play.
I started playing rpg's at the tender age of 12, with D&D (expert rules), I moved on to AD&D 1st and 2nd edition. I've dabbled in Call of Cthulu, Paranoia, Twilight 2000, Warhammer Fantasy Role Play, Vampire, Werewolf, Marvel Super Heroes, Champions, Villains and Vigilantes, Palladium, Robotech, etc. The list goes on and on.
I continued playing rpgs until around age 28 or so, and at that time my entire core gaming group grew up, got jobs, and or moved away. I tried to get my fix solo, for the next ten years with various MMO's. From The Realm, to UO, to WoW, Darkfall, Aion, etc. I've played nearly everything.
My entire gaming library having turned to dust due to frequent use, and then long term neglect, I find myself starting over; only this time with Pathfinder. I'm currently running a pathfinder game over the 'net using d20pro software, but it is too infrequent to satisfy me, and is only filling the void for GMing, not playing.
I'm hoping to find like minded gamers that run games that I can fit my schedule around. I'm also thinking of getting into warhammer miniature battles, however I've never played it, and am just now starting to purchase miniatures for it.
Once I get back into the hang of GMing, I may be interested in running an ongoing pathfinder campaign, but right now I'm still familiarizing myself with the rule system.
I work at Fleshgear Tattoo in Rockdale, so if you are in the area feel free to stop by and introduce yourself. I'm always happy to chat with other gamers.
