After talking with Mike and realizing what made that one space combat so fun was the random aspect of things happening in combat. I seem to have ignored my own advice: jolietgaming.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gmb&action=display&thread=322I created a randomizer for ground battles as well. I was testing it out with Dan last night and so far it has been fun. What I need is more practice, so what I need is for anyone to post some type of encounter. All I'll need is a generic place and generic enemies. For example: Stormtroopers - Jungle of Yavin

I am falling in love with this randomizer idea.
I had bob give me an example on messenger and this was the result:
coruscant - street bandits
First Roll: The randomizer just rolled you a free force point to use for 1 round Second Roll: After you just kicked the shit out of one of the bandits, another one gets pissed off and says, you dumbass I thought you said we can take them, and punches the other bandit.
This idea just reminds me to do the things that I should be.
I'll do the raiders next.

Tusken Raiders - Tatooine
First Roll: Over the 2nd dune to the north you can see an out of control bantha. The bantha is charging at the party and the Raiders you are faced off with. It is also dragging its rider.
Second Roll: Nothing
Third Roll: Bantha is one round away. You can see a huge dust storm to the north. I think that is what freaked out the bantha.
Keep em coming.
This isn't going to be done every round.
