Hi,

I created this account to see what general games are being played in the area. I am interested in hosting a 3.5 DnD game every other weekend, since I have an apartment and live on my own. It is far from ready, procrastinating at its best.

I see there are not many DnD games here and since I can only play on the weekend I didn't want to post this and step on anyone's toes who are already running a game. Since you called me out I figured an explanation was due.

I have no problems with posting/hosting another game on the forums. If you can get enough players and want me to create a forum for you then I'd be happy to. Currently I'm in 3 DnD games. One meets every other Saturday (Dan's Brother - 4e), Rich/Joel's game - defunct and I don't see anyone playing anymore, and then Bob's game which mostly takes place on the forums.

I'm all about game rotations. Keeps things fresh IMO. We are playing either SW or Marvel every other Sunday. Dan and I play Dnd on the opposite Saturday. I can't speak for everyone but I'd be more than happy to add your game to the rotation. The thing about rotations is I feel if I play in your game then I'd like it if you played in mine. However that isn't a requirement.

Hey, I stumbled across this site from the EN World Gamer Seeking Gamers forum... thought it would be an easy enough way to see about getting back into gaming after a bit of a layoff. I'm more or less open to any type of game, I have played up to D&D 3.5 for that part of it -- I am tempted to try 4th edition but the thought of buying a ton of new books irks me -- and I have played a lot of Palladium system and Mutants and Masterminds (super hero game)

Since I have the free time and the desire, I figure I'd create some type of introduction thread for what we do here.

My basic introduction can be found here:

I am the one that GMs 95% of the time and creator of this forum.

There are a total of 4 games that are primarily games with the people here.

Our first game is Star Wars Saga -

All the house rules, important NPCs, and back stories are all in that section. I’ve recorded our games for a while now so if anyone wanted to read what happened in the past the option is there.

In between games we like to keep the story fresh with an optional forum game:

This game is primarily run live on alternating Sundays at my home. The plan has been that I am going to finish up my current campaign then hand over the GM role to Dan. The main reason behind that is so I can focus on our other game Marvel Super Heroes.

Our third game as it stands is a forum only Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition game run by Bob. If Bob wishes to run the game off the forums he is always welcome. That can be found here:

The fourth major game that is played by anyone here is a game (Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition) that is run by Dan’s brother Rich that meets alternating Saturday nights. I have no control over any aspect of the game.

Other notable games would include a system designed by me for Transformers, maybe some board games, Star Wars Minis, and possibly a one shot of old DnD.

my game is not forum only we played 6 sessions in person (Paul played 2 and dan played 1 the original group played 4) ...just no time to have a regular meetup since most of my players are gone.


I lost most of my players from my group so the game is more or less on the shelf.
