Dan starts here with sabby

When I am a guest at a convention I am there to entertain people and add to the fun they have at the event. thus, unless the game session is advertised as one where the objective is to kill the PCs--and I've done a few of those--I try to keep PCs alive. Of course if a player doesn't want to have his character survive, the natural selection process of the game environment will take over.

Ktygaavh orders that his six new republic soldiers form a diamond pattern with himself at the top of the diamond and sabby as the bottom. You are traveling north.

Kind of like that. K = Ktygaavh, N= NR Soldiers, and S = Sabby. Spread out more of course.

Ktygaavh makes small talk telepathically with Sabby, nothing major. Just about things to clear his mind and to use the force to sense the soldiers.

To make things easier the wookie is making the survival checks to find tracks. He found a rather odd grouping of creatures he can't identify. He draws his light saber (Pure white blade) and ignites it. His translator responds with.

"Whatever it is, we won’t be sneaking up on it. No point in being unprepared.”
He perks up a bit then looks over at the troops and does that thing with the hands to signal the group.

His translator responds with.

“I knew we weren’t alone. Master Jones there is someone behind you.”

You feel no danger and Ktygaavh doesn't make any aggresive actions.

[17:21] Deep Thund: a deep gruff voice replies, hi
[17:21] Danimal 924: Sabby: "Were looking for a missing patrol of soliders, Have you seen them?"
[17:22] Deep Thund: he continues to mess with his hair and says, nope
[17:24] Danimal 924: Sabby: "What are you doing out here in the forest?"
[17:24] Deep Thund: singing
[17:25] Danimal 924: Sabby: "You know the forest isn't entirely safe, right?"
[17:27] Deep Thund: I sing to keep them away
[17:28] Danimal 924: To keep who away?
[17:34] Deep Thund: keeps the bad guys away
[17:35] Danimal 924: "What bad guys? Have you seen them?"
[17:37] Deep Thund: nope, because I sing and they go away
[17:40] Danimal 924: "How long have you been in the forest?"
[17:44] Deep Thund: a while, been here since Gilad Pallaeon dropped off his troops

Yuzzem: "My name is Rorg. I have not seen any soldiers in a while. I escaped slavery when this planet was occupied by the Empire. I've been here ever since living in the jungle and singing."

He continues to stroke his hair.

Rorg "General Veers lead a ground force a while back and took the planet from the rebellion. I can only assume that since you are here that the planet has been taken back."

Sabby: "Yes, we have taken the planet back. "

Sabby will search his feelings to see if Rorg is telling the truth. If he is he says, Sabby will look to Ktygaavh and send him a message via telepathic : "Master, should we ask him to head back towards the temple, offer him food shelter and a safer place to stay? At least until we figure out what all is going on."

((I just going to say perception rather then search your feelings. However there is no deception opposed check. He is telling the truth and you feel no threat from him. He isn't under fed and looks like he is in top shape.))

Ktygaavh walks up and says out loud :"Master Jones, you rely too much on telepathy. Others might consider that rude. I don't think sending him back to the temple. People might look at him and think he is one of the dangerous beasts. I mean no disrespect Rorg."

Rorg towers over Ktygaavh by at least a foot. The wookie is not used to looking up at other beings.

Rorg :"I can guide you around, and show you the places to avoid. I've grown rather fond of this jungle."

He starts to sing again, rather loud actually.

Sabby nods at Ktygaavh. "I ment no disrespect by the telepathy. Though Rorg, I know it would be an honor to me if you could show us around. Some of the places to avoid might be where we need to go. Were looking for a missing patrol, and they might have gotten caught up in something. Though I do not want to put you in any sort of danger."

He looks at you strangly, not knowing of your....abilities then stops singing and strokes his fur again.

Rorg "I've been in this jungle for quite some time. I'd be more worried about you furless little people."

Ktygaavh lets out a good wookiee laugh and pats Sabby on the head.

Ktygaavh :"I'm going to have to make sure the guys hear about this when we get back. Rorg, why don't you take point."

((I get the feeling I'll be using this often.)

Rorg :"Cantina Brawler"

((It's tank is SW, honestly this is what the random generator I used picked for him.))

He walks around for a while and seems to be taking you guys on a tour. He is acting more like you are on a tour rather then a rescue mission.

He is showing you some really cool old temples.

Well, working on a gray area here, you feel the draw of the dark side to every temple you come across. I'm going to leave that up to sabby's interpretation if that is beneficial, indifferent, etc to him.
