	Because World of Warcraft has been the leading culprit in dumbing down the genre to make it easy enough for the mainstream audience who has never heard of an MMO before to hop in and enjoy. Now, this isn't necessarily bad. But the soaring popularity of World of Warcraft has pigeonholed the entire industry into creating clones in order to be successful.

When I am a guest at a convention I am there to entertain people and add to the fun they have at the event. thus, unless the game session is advertised as one where the objective is to kill the PCs--and I've done a few of those--I try to keep PCs alive. Of course if a player doesn't want to have his character survive, the natural selection process of the game environment will take over.

Sabby glares at his droid, "Damn it 42 (R4-D2), I need to get someone to work on your programing some more. You can't seem to do a decent job working with computers. Head back to the ship and run a full diagnostic on it, at least that you can do right I hope."

After listening to the whining beeps of the droid he walks back towards the main hanger looking for Fenrir."

((I'm just going to assume you don't mean to cause her any harm because you realize she is just playing around. To advance the story I'm just going to say you were able to guide your dewback out of the way fast enough then make yours charge ahead after her. To also advance the story I'm going to say that while chasing her you failed to see that tree branch and are knocked clean off your dewback. You slip down a hill rather fast and crash into a stone brick (looks like a cinder block) that has no business being there. You feel a cold blast of air on the back of your neck and you realize you are now alone. This place makes you feel uneasy. Moving a few vines back you found an opening to an underground building. You feel compelled to enter. To advance the story and to make things more interesting I’m going to say you were pushed in from behind by an unknown force. One you get to your feet after a very small fall you hear a growling sound but you can only see light coming from the hole you just fell in. The hole you fell in isn't a straight drop, it is more like a slippery mud slide, it is a few stories high.))

While I'm at it, I think I will calculate the jump to Maridun.

Hyperspace travel: Travel within the same region of space; When traveling within the same region of space (Outer Rim for example) calculate the time using the following formula: 1d10+1 hour per area crossed hours x hyper drive modifier.

Same region, 1 area.
1d10+1X4
I am using X4 because we are going with a fleet and X4 is the lowest multiplyer for the fleet so we can all arrive together.

Trip from Yavin = 32 Hours
Trip BACK to Yavin = 28 Hours

I'm just jumping a head in time, this post is just for reference.

Per the rules anyone can do an all out run at 4 times their speed.
So with the speed of 6 that means anyone can move 24 squares in one turn. So then in 6 turns the most we can RUN is 144 squares. That is under normal conditions and a straight line. Movement is twice as much when going over difficult terrain. So here is our situation. 5 rounds to get to bob1 or bob2. Check out my cool map. What does sabby do and what does he want Rory to do?

The numbers represent the turns taken. The distances to each rage from the start is equal.
