The Race for a Cure - RP

[Paul]

((We have a lot of issues we need to address in game. Here is the list: (There isn't any relevance to the order.)))

1. Access Alegnia
2. What to do with Tier / Sith Spirit
3. Next mission notes
4. What to do with the six students
5. What to do with the two force users found on Harrin.
6. The mutiny will be more or less ignored due to us resolving it on the ship.
7. A Cure

1. The council wishes that all the members attend to discuss if they feel that Alegnia is worthy to be on the Jedi council.

Luke: “Masters Umgelder, Jones, and Firestalker how do you feel about Alegnia’s abilities?

Rory: “Well she has some unique skills that are an asset to this council. Speaking of asses she also has a nice one. When I search my feelings I get a sense that she has an adventurous side that may lead into danger. However this side didn’t show up on our mission to Harrin. Her powers seem inconsistent and lack synergy. I think that…..”

Rory starts to go into details about the mission and it is rather long winded. He acts rather excited and uses excessive hand gestures to enhance his story. Even to the point of using his fingers like little legs walking and fighting. He seems to have reverted a little back to his silly state.

Anakin: “RORY!”

Rory: “Oh, oops sorry. To sum it up, she is strong, has strange abilities, is hot, and I’m concerned about the relationship between her and Rage. I abstain for my vote. I’ll need another mission to make the choice yes or no.”

Luke:"Anyone else have anything to add?"

Sabby gives it a moment before speaking: "She has good abilities and potential. She has a darker side then some of us had seen before, so it is something that should be watched to see her true nature. Which, I know I am not the one to be the full voice of reason on this. We should watcher her a little more before we decide if she will be an asset on the council. So I will abstain for a little longer until another mission has gone on with her."

Ktygaavh:" What say you master Firestalker? I also hear you might be applying to be a knight soon. What makes you think you will make a good Jedi Knight?"

((I'm going to jump around a bit in time here rather then waiting for Bob's reply. This doesn't mean that Bob still can't reply to Ktygaavh, he will just to make a double post or combine them.))

Takital - Pemi accidentally walked off into a Takital which the party then became involved in. The Amani were so angered by this intrusion that they followed the party to the Lurmen town and after we left captured all the Lurmen people. Due to agreements the Amani have with the Empire they have given all the Lurmen people to the Empire to be used as slaves. The peaceful Lurmen put up no resistance. The lorekeeper (leader) of the tribe that captured the Lurmen sent a message to the New Republic using the transceiver we left behind. The message was simple; “You have dishonored us by stepping on sacred ground. Your friends are now slaves of the Empire finish the Takital to regain what little honor you have and we might arrange for the Empire to release your friends.” They seem unaware we are at war with the Empire. There has been no further communications as the signal has been disabled from the source.

When the first Lurmen landed on Maridun thier ship was taken by the Amani. There were medical supplies on that ship that SoW hopes the Amani have not taken. SoW believes that in those medical supplies is a rare herb that grows on their native planet of Mygeeto. Since Mygeeto was locked in an ice age, giant crystallized glaciations and ice covered its surface, as well as huge crystal spurs. The Lurmen on Mygeeto were slaves of the Muun but lore is they used to dig underground tunnels and planet special trees known for their medicinal properties. SoW thinks that this herb can cure the plague. SoW needs to get to that ship and is asking the New Republic to complete the Takital to help rescue his people.

Luke:” Lets be honest, even if we do complete the Takital, the Empire will not release the Lurmen. I am expecting we will have to take them by force. Admiral Kahn I can put in a request for Rogue Squad to report to you, Wedge owes me a favor. It might take some convincing though. Wedge really wanted to help out Yavin’s planetary defenses. I will ask Admiral Akbar if we can get some more ships, and maybe with the both of us bothering him he may just give in.”

Sabby: "Do we know where the ship could be? Or what we might have to do to get to it?"

I think we need a plan. The ship hasn't been seen for decades. The herb can still be intact in its container.

Rage: "Angelina has done nothing but protect me and the republics interests. However she has made no verbal indication of actually wanting to join the Jedi order formally. She just seems to want to help us....I would ask her"

"As for the other matters...I will leave those decisions up to more experienced Jedi. As for Knighthood...yes I will be applying shortly. "

Ktygaavh:" Masters Skywalker, it appears that we don't have a decisive vote for Alegnia."

Anakin: "I belive it will be a good idea for her to participate in the Takital."

Moving on to the Takital Mission:

((Don't mean to play Kahn here but I will setup a scene and Jim can do whatever.))

Kahn enters Akbar's state room and notices the door to his private bathroom is open slightly. You hear Akbar inside say "It's a Crap!"



Akbar flushes, washes his hands then leaves the bathroom. He says:"Something I can help you with Admiral Kahn?"

Back at the council chambers Tier is lead in by four republic guards.

Luke: "You are dismissed." to the guards.

Anakin stands up out of his chair and walks to Tier.

Anakin: "I feel the dark side and it isn't just from Sabby. What is your name young sith apprentice?"

Tier/Sith: "I am Yoda"

Anakin slugs him, the other senior council members escourt Anakin back to his seat.

Luke:"We know you have a very convincing tongue, but your continued disrespect will only cause more problems."

Tier/Sith - his voice is slightly different :"Help me!"

Ktygaavh:"We must find a way to see who is truly under control. I suggest one of our members should watch him at all times, while the others search the holonet for answers. We may need to get some help hacking into the Jedi archivies."

((Who is going to do what?))

Sabby: "I can start looking for information on the holonet. Maybe I can get my astromech to help hack into any sites I can't get into. I just don't feel right being near Tier right now."

[Paul]

((Since we have plenty of time, we will do things by the book here. I'll look up the official rules when big brother leaves.))

(( Per the rules you need to make the computer indifferent or better to access information. The holonet is considered hostile for our purposes due to the fact that the Jedi archives are still on Coruscant and controlled by the empire. Per the rules you can only improve access if you have use computer trained. Sabby walks up to the computer, starts’ typing then walks away because he will be unable to do anything. You feel that using the computer isn’t getting you anywhere, you just can’t understand it well enough. Your droid is of no help.))

Dan, what do you do next?

Rory will guard Tier and ask for the New Republic to prepare his ship for the trip to Maridun. He asks that his land speeder to be loaded.

Alegnia:" Hey Rage o matic, what is going on? Don’t you want me on the council? I think it would be rather fun working together often. I rented us some dewbacks for the day. Lets go riding into the jungle, come on.”

((Bob I need a knowledge check. If you have any trained knowledge in sith lore or Yavin then that is applicable. If you don’t, just roll a basic knowledge check.))

[Bob]

Knowlage check= 12 + 3 for a total of 15.

Rage: "I want you in the consul. I just never heard you talk about it before my love. I wanted to make sure thats what you wanted to do. We have never spoken about you being Jedi before. You have helped me and the Republic a lot but for all I knew we could of been giving you a responsibility you wanted no part of. I just wanted to make sure."

((Before he leaves the Consul))

Rage: "masters. I think you may of taken my words earlier out of context. I never voted agianst her being in the consul. I only said that she has never spoken to me about being on the consul and I wanted us to be sure its what she wanted rather then something we were forcing on her. She is nothing but good and pure for our needs. She is loyal and a good ally. She will be nothing but a fine serving Jedi Knight of the republic, might even be a better one then me. I just didnt want to speak for her...I honestly think you should just ask her what she wants to do. She is worthy and capable of doing anything she puts her mind to. "

[Paul]

Anakin:"I understand Rage, however the vote was one for and two votes for neither. Your mind is set and might be clouded with your feelings towards her. This is the only reason she is to be evaluated further. There has not been any negative reaction from any of you, it is just we are being cautious."

((Bob - Roll your ride check for getting on the dewback. This is mostly done for show, per the rules you can mount a ride as a move action, but I just want to see if you roll something low for fun.))

Alegnia chuckles and kicks the dewbacks sides to make him run into the jungle.

Rage's dewback jumps and dashes to the jungle.

You are racing through the jungle and getting slapped in the face by the large leaves on some of the trees. ((You do not take damage)) You do feel a cool breeze that runs up your neck. It feels refreshing from the humid air of the planet. Moments later you reach a small clearing and notice you are alone.
