Why: Discuss the Jyrovian Culture from the archives, plan next mission.

Wookiee (Translated): The Jyrovian population resembles humans with one major difference. The Jyrovian females have developed a scent gland that has been known to even attract males of different races. One of the few successful reconnaissance missions has uncovered a settlement alongside Fiddyment Creek named Lanemi that would be a good place to start first contact proceedings. At this time of year the people are celebrating Tinale. The ancient Jyrovians believed that the border between this world and the otherworld became thin on Tinale, allowing spirits (both harmless and harmful) to pass through. The family's ancestors were honored and invited home whilst harmful spirits were warded off. It is believed that the need to ward off harmful spirits led to the wearing of costumes and masks. Their purpose was to disguise oneself as a harmful spirit and thus avoid harm. This will make it easier for everyone to slip into town. The town itself is garrisoned by fifteen B1 series battle droids, ten B2 series and four droideka series battle droids. It is all ready setup by the New Republic for everyone to board escape pods and land a days travel away from Lanemi. Any questions?

Pemi	Pemi is rather hyperactive male adolescent that likes to spend his time following the Jyrovian hunting parties so he can draw pictures and write about what he sees.
Covu	The Covu are large indigenous creatures that lurk in the forests near Lanemi. They are hunted by the young males of Jyrova mainly for sport and are two meters taller then the boar-wolf or borras from Endor.
Kyhune	Kyhune is the name of the last known dynasty to have ruled a peaceful Jyrova. They are rumored to be extinct.
Jarepi	Jarepi is a Jyrovian female that works as an assistant in the temple at Lanemi. Local rumors speculate she is the last known survivor of the Kyhune dynasty and the one to bring peace once again to her people per the Memi prophecy.
Memi prophecy	The Memi prophecy states that the last in the purest bloodline will find a hero from the heavens to restore peace and save the bloodline from extinction.
Tuxani	Tuxani is the priest and the spiritual leader of the town of Lanemi. He has sworn to protect his adopted daughter Jarepi from harm.
Nehe	The town to the north.
The Etula	A group of space slavers that is lead by Boorka the Hutt. The group mostly consists of Trandoshans but is not exclusive to that race.
Edgar	He held the title of ExCek (executive), which is the Proprietor of The Harrin Trade Corridor. His whereabouts are currently unknown but he is expected to be dead after the plague that started on Harrin.
Tier	He held the title of vExCek (vice executive), which is the Assistant Proprietor of The Harrin Trade Corridor. He is currently being incarcerated in a maximum security prison by the New Republic for being the master mind behind the plague that started on Harrin.
Captain Farrell	He is the bureaucratic captain of the Prime. His rise to power was done completely by political means as he has very little combat experience. In his attempts to run a tight ship by the book he tends to anger the crew. Farrell is not at all happy with sharing the command duties with Kahn and has sent frequent applications requesting that Kahn stand aside and let him be captain.*

*I know I don't fully understand how the US Navy conducts itself when a Admiral arrives on the ship, I can only go off of what I've seen on Star Trek/Wars and that is the guy that is the highest rank is in charge.

The Jedi Council

Vael-Zek	A Draethos Jedi formerly played by Randy now an NPC. He is one of the true traditionists Jedi on the council that firmly believes in the old Jedi code. He was trained by master Ktygaavh who is also a member of the Jedi council.
Califonea	A human Jedi formerly played by Harry now an NPC. Was originally part of the Etula but due to finding out their true evil nature decided to leave.

Ktygaavh *	He is a Wookiee Jedi master of the old tradition. Ktygaavh has also trained Vael-Zek in the ways of the force. He is generally a soft spoken Wookiee with the tendency to remain calm even when most Wookiees would fly into a rage.
Luke Skywalker *	Duh
Anakin Skywalker *	Duh - He didn't die like in the movies, he was turned back to the light side by Luke. He still needs to wear the armor, but now it is white.

The next morning Kahn (Jim) gets a beep on his com link.

Voice: This is Captain Fenrir of the Nuclear Whistle. I haven’t much time. I have on board some reinforcements and some information.

The Whistle lands just north of the temple. Fenrir, Sebastian, Rem, and four New Republic soldiers exit the Whistle. The soldiers walk up to Kahn and salute, Fenrir not used to this entire chain of command says oops, and then salutes Kahn. Almost the entire town watches the ship land. The four soldiers shuffle away from Rem.

Fenrir: General I bring bad news. The rumor of an alliance between the droid armies on Jyrova and The Etula is no longer a rumor. A small fleet of Etulan cruisers is approaching our blockade. I must take the Whistle back right away; our fleet is still heavily damaged from our own blockade run.

Rory: Fenrir take care of my ship.

Fenrir waves his hand in the air and says: Your ship? You lost it to me fair and square.

Rory: Funny

Fenrir: May the force be with you.

Rory chuckles a little: Get going ya pirate.

Fenrir then flies the Whistle back into space.

Pemi: Tuxani. Scouts have spotted a large group of droids on route to Lanemi. They are being lead by a few lizards looking creatures and a bug like guy with a mask on.

Jarepi is brought before the Senate by members of the Jedi Council (Rory, Sebastian, and both Skywalkers) to ask to join the New Republic. Kahn, Tuxani and Rem are also in attendance to speak on behalf of Jarepi.

Mon Mothma: “Master Jedi, it pleases me to see you, the senate awaits your proposal.”

Luke ushers Rory forward to address the Senate:

Rory: ”Members of the Senate of the New Republic, I speak as a character witness to the good deeds of Jarepi. She wishes to formally apply for membership into the New Republic.”

Ithorian Delegate: “Who is she to speak on behalf of her entire planet? The war to remove the droids from Jyrova has already cost many lives.”

Wookiee Delegate: Translated – something that sounds like breaking a few eggs to make an omelette.

Jarepi: “Members of the Senate, I thank you for this opportunity to speak on behalf of my people. I am…(she looks over to Tuxani, he nods) of the last of the Kyhune dynasty, the royal family to my people. My people have been long forgotten under the rule of the separatist’s droids. I’ve been told the Empire that has forgotten us is in full retreat and your group the New Republic is taking control of the galaxy. I pray to my gods that the sensibility of this New Republic will not forget us. I wish to apply for a position in the Senate to represent Jyrova.”

The council members murmur to themselves, as Mon Mothma bangs a gavel to restore order.

Mon Mothma: “The vote will proceed once we finish our previous agenda. The Senate is now in recess.”

The council members slowly leave the temple/senate floor.

Rory looks to Kahn and walks up to him.

Rory:” I apologize for my actions back on the planet. I have been working with masters Skywalker to control my rage.”


The Jedi Wookiee (Translated) on the Comlink: “General Kahn please report to the Jedi council, and bring Rem and the rest of the council members.”

The Jedi Wookiee (Translated) “You remember Sebastian?”

Sebastian nods after the rush of knowledge returns to him.

The Jedi Wookiee (Translated) “Keex was the apprentice to the Sith that possessed Sebastian and is also in control of the holocron created by Darth Plagueis. Our intelligence suggests he is training more sith. Please use caution when dealing with him.”

The console beeps.

The Jedi Wookiee (Translated) The Senate is expecting you.

Location: Yavin IV – Main Senate Floor for the New Republic

Mon Mothma:”The senate has accepted your application.”

A New Republic General approaches Jarepi and speaks: “Senator, under these circumstances and for your protection I’ve assigned these two guards to protect you. Rem, I’ve heard you’ve grown quite attached to her as well. Consider her protection one of you duties, your pay will increase accordingly.”

Game #1
Within minutes of our return from Maridun we are approached by General Crix Madine and Jarepi. The two quickly usher us into a briefing room.

Madine: “Jarepi has just explained that she has contact with her people and the town of Lanemi has been attacked and our Jedi force on the planet was overrun. The town suffered some heavy loses. It appears the droid army had one mission, to capture Tuxani. Our intelligence has determined he is being held at the base in Dachau. This base’s primary function is a hub for atmospheric ships. If we could capture this base we would be able to land a devastating blow to the droid army. Here is the plan; we have a map of the base thanks to the locals. We are going to sneak into the complex using the ventilation system. Kahn your mission will be to go into the complex and rescue Tuxani. Sebastian will be take control of the command center. Rem will disable the shield generator. If we can not capture the base then we are going to destroy it from orbit, the shield is protecting the base. Rory will cut off their reinforcements. Fenrir has been working with some new technology that will help you for these missions. Rem, Fenrir has developed a computer interface device that will help you with the computers on the base. (Game purposes +5 for use computer checks). Fenrir has also been working on the radio frequencies that are controlling these droids and has created a device that can scramble the radio frequencies causing minor confusion in the droids. (Game purposes – droids within 10m of the device will have a -2 to ALL actions for one minute, the device can only be used twice) That device is for you Sebastian. The last device is a super ion grenade which is for Kahn. (For game purposes the grenade is the same as a normal ion grenade but with a 10m radius.) Get aboard The Whistle and get to the planet asap.”

I will run this game on the 8th (if Jim isn't there), or game #1 (if Jim is there).

Game #2
Within minutes of our return from Maridun we are approached Jarepi and her two New Republic guards. She gives Rem a big hug and kiss. She looks up into Rem's eyes and there isn't a roll in the world that would fail to notice she is bored as hell.

The two guards look over at Rem and grunt a little showing no real respect for the senators husband.

Jarepi pulls Rem aside and whispers in his ear:
"Get me the hell out of here. These bureaucrats are driving me nuts, I want to get out and see the galaxy. I want to take a unexpected vacation to Naboo. I heard it is gorgeous there."

Currently the things on our plate:

Takital
Pemi accidentally walked off into a Takital which the party then became involved in. The Amani were so angered by this intrusion that they followed the party to the Lurmen town and after we left captured all the Lurmen people. Due to agreements the Amani have with the Empire they have given all the Lurmen people to the Empire to be used as slaves. The peaceful Lurmen put up no resistance. The lorekeeper (leader) of the tribe that captured the Lurmen sent a message to the New Republic using the transceiver we left behind. The message was simple; “You have dishonored us by stepping on sacred ground. Your friends are now slaves of the Empire finish the Takital to regain what little honor you have and we might arrange for the Empire to release your friends.” They seem unaware we are at war with the Empire. There has been no further communications as the signal has been disabled from the source.

The Dashade
Find the cloning facility that the Etula is using to clone these Dashade.

Holocron
The holocron that was training Sebastian is still missing. This holocron was said to be created by Darth Plagueis.

Plague
The plague isn't spreading anymore (Due to finding a treatment by Wag Too), but there are still several million still infected. Try and locate any survivors on Harrin, specifially Edgar.

Jyrova
The planet is still under droid occupation.

Rumors
Emperor Tarkin is a clone with the spirit of Darth Plagueis. He is also creating a new superweapon.

Alegnia enters the council and is asked to join us to the trip to Harrin since she is already infected she is a perfect choice.

This was the message we got from Harrin this morning.

This message was sent using the antenna on the top of the cantina.
On the screen is Edgar, he is a bloody and dirty mess. His voice is frantic and he is out of breath.

Edgar

This is Edgar, please! Is anyone there, I need help. We are getting overrun by zombies and our numbers diminish by the day. Please help!!

He is knocked to one side from behind. When Edgar leaves the camera view there are four zombies standing there. Three of the four zombies go after Edgar as we hear him scream. The fourth looks directly at the screen and says “send more brains.” The signal goes dead from the source.

Anakin Skywalker

Your mission is to rescue Edgar and any survivors. You have 48 hours once you arrive on the planet to find him and as many people as you can. Once that time is up, the planet will be bombarded from orbit. Fenrir has developed a device that will be able to detect the zombies. (We’ve all seen Aliens I hope. Remember those beeping proximity detector things.) You will leave in four hours.

When the first Lurmen landed on Maridun thier ship was taken by the Amani. There were medical supplies on that ship that SoW hopes the Amani have not taken. SoW believes that in those medical supplies is a rare herb that grows on their native planet of Mygeeto. Since Mygeeto was locked in an ice age, giant crystallized glaciations and ice covered its surface, as well as huge crystal spurs. The Lurmen on Mygeeto were slaves of the Muun but lore is they used to dig underground tunnels and planet special trees known for their medicinal properties. SoW thinks that this herb can cure the plague. SoW needs to get to that ship and is asking the New Republic to complete the Takital to help rescue his people.

Luke:” Lets be honest, even if we do complete the Takital, the Empire will not release the Lurmen. I am expecting we will have to take them by force. Admiral Kahn I can put in a request for Rogue Squad to report to you, Wedge owes me a favor. It might take some convincing though. Wedge really wanted to help out Yavin’s planetary defenses. I will ask Admiral Akbar if we can get some more ships, and maybe with the both of us bothering him he may just give in.”

The forum game is wrapping up so it is time to plan for Sunday. I see no problem posting this now.

The council then talks about the progress that has been made in the liberation of Jyrova. We are to report to the planet in two days escorting both the senator (Jarepi) and Pemi back home for a celebration. There are rumors that the Empire and the droid armies are staging one last push. We are to be there incase it happens.

They delayed the party for a day due to our mission at the temple. We know that they are planning a contest and the rules are posted on the holonet. They are as follows.

The contest is simple, which team can destroy the droids faster, wins. During the contest the opposing team will control the droids against the other team. The weapons the droids are using are only stun weapons. There is no restriction on attacks or weapons the contestants can use (except grenades). Spectators will be in the stands. ((Think coliseum)) Each set of droids has specific programming.

For example, the 4 inside droids can't move and only shoot.

The two middle groups of 3 each will only shoot once and be assisted by the other two, and can only move on a selected track. If a droid in that group of 3 is destroyed then a new shooter from that group fires with the assist of the other droid.

The outside 4 are programmed to maintain max distance. The want to stay away from any of the contestants and shoot, but they will not run if it provokes an attack of opportunity.

There will be 10 minutes oog to plan a strategy for each team. The droid team may need to wait outside so to not hear the other teams plan.

There are 5 possible starting positions, but someone MUST start in the middle

It would be sabby and rage on one team and rory and khel on the other.

Save any questions for Sunday. It will make more sence once the battle map has been setup. A die roll will determine which team is first.

Updated rules for the contest.

Segment #1
The middle 4 droids will be two B1s and two B2s. This set of 4 droids will go first in order of initiate.

Segment #2
The player that starts in the middle of these four droids then goes next in order of initiative.

Segment #3
The two sets of three droids (B1s) will go next in order of initiative.

Segment #4
The player that starts on the track goes next in order of initiative.

Segment #5
The four outside droids are B2s and will go last.

A round is counted once this cycle is complete. Each part is a segment. If a segment is out then the next segment goes. For example if segment #1 gets destroyed then segment #2 becomes segment #1 etc etc. The winner is determined by round and segment.

The positions are as follows: In the middle will be one PC. That PC will have four droids around him. One on each corner alternating B1,B2,B1,B2. From the corners of the droids we will count off 3 squares and that will be the start of the track. Those droids will be set as far away on the track to the PCs starting position. The outside 4 are placed on the corners.
