The consul chambers were quiet. Rage was left behind.

Rage, "But I want to go with the others to protect Luke..."

Anakin:" That mission has more then enough miscule, we need you here. Their is a chance the enemy will come for us here."

The day passes without and incidents. Rage fails his attempts at meditation and just as he is about to be successful he is distrubed by Angelina with a message.

"The prime has been destroyed. Most of the flight personal got off the ship safely, but your security detail was mostly whipped out Rage. They stayed till the end in order to get the rest of the crew out..."

Rage: "Kahn?"

Angelina: "He survived"

Rage: "and Farrel"

Angelina: "Him too..."

Rage: "probably thanks to my men and Kahn useless Farrel"

Voice in heads "This is Anakin, Leias ship has arrived."

*Lieas ship lands and she gets out, Aneglina goes inside to help the wookie protect and run the temple while everyone is outside*

Anakin: Were you followed?

Leia: I couldnt tell but I sense that I was...

*suddenly a blaster fires*

Leia: "Get Down"

*Leia pushes Rage and Anakin out of the way*

Anakin: Master snipers!

Rage; What are they?

Anakin: Force gunmen, like you.

Rage: (draws Blaster rifle, looks down scope) I cant find where the shot came from....

*another shot is fired...this time at Rage instead of Anakin*

Anakin: Watch out!

*Anakin deflects the blast, Rage then swicthes to Lightsaber and more bullets come he deflects them*

Rage: SHOW YOURSELVES!

(nothing happens, group waits for 5 mins, then the wookie shows up)

Wookie: I heard footsteps head to the west, I think we are clear now. Good work Leia...Anakin..Rage....
*to Angelina*
The threat is over, you can open up the secure areas of the temple again. We are bringing the Skywalkers inside.

Rage: How can they shoot at us and the JUST run AWAY like that.

Wookie: Rage, calm down your turn will come.

Rage: We need to go after them, they almost hit one of us!

Leia: Anakin?

Anakin: Rage, please....come inside and show my daughter your recent work. She has been interested in some of your ideas for reopublic military reform.

Rage: As you wish master...

*they go inside*

Anakin: (patch me to luke) Son, tell Kahn I am sorry about his ship...the good news is...the temple is safe.

Luke: I sensed a minor threat.

Anakin: Yes, true Force Snipers came gunning for us. Rage did make a small error as he was confused by the gun attack. They masked their presence very well with the Force, and the range of their guns caught the boy by surprise...but no one was harmed.

Luke: Rory and Sabby are doing well, also the heavy gunner POW has proven to be a loyal aide, much like Solo was to me. We are done with the mission now...I will see you when I return...Luke out..

Because World of Warcraft has been the leading culprit in dumbing down the genre to make it easy enough for the mainstream audience who has never heard of an MMO before to hop in and enjoy. Now, this isn't necessarily bad. But the soaring popularity of World of Warcraft has pigeonholed the entire industry into creating clones in order to be successful.

The Vex Force Sniper Division

The Vex Force Sniper Division was sighted on Yavin today confirming the rumors of their existence that had been uttered ever since the death of emperor palatine.

Rumor has it that the Orgin's of Vex force exist beyond that of recent times. Cancellor Papatine actually created these warriors during the clone wars. He selected a group of about ten clone troopers and gave them special botic and force training. This corrupted them, and longevity their life.

They were then placed discretely accross the galaxy to ensure that clone troopers complied to the order to betray the Jedi. A few Clone troopers began to express indivdual thoughts against the masscae of the Jedi. But the presence of these highly skilled "Gun Sith" promoted loyalty.

After the Empire was formed most of these warriors were placed on special assignments. Few were paried together. They were reunited after the empire was destroyed and now operate as mercs that mostly take empire reminant contracts.

Because World of Warcraft has been the leading culprit in dumbing down the genre to make it easy enough for the mainstream audience who has never heard of an MMO before to hop in and enjoy. Now, this isn't necessarily bad. But the soaring popularity of World of Warcraft has pigeonholed the entire industry into creating clones in order to be successful.

The biggest problem with a division of snipers coming after the skywalkers is that it isn't what is happening.

From the journal "During the wedding two of PoW’s troops were killed by a mysterious woman with red hair."

Look up Mara Jade.

However, there is nothing wrong with this idea and I do like it that there are "others" coming after council members.

This would make a great side quest/story if you ever run a game.

When I am a guest at a convention I am there to entertain people and add to the fun they have at the event. thus, unless the game session is advertised as one where the objective is to kill the PCs--and I've done a few of those--I try to keep PCs alive. Of course if a player doesn't want to have his character survive, the natural selection process of the game environment will take over.

I have a rather fun idea. I want Bob to run this as a forum RPG. There are plenty of characters that had players but not anymore. I see this as a side mission for Rage, but not for Sabby/Rory/PoW/Kahn.

This is optional but the available characters would be:

Mike [Khel]
Dan2 [ Jean Claude]
Nathan [Jenesari Defender]
Joel / Shane [Sneaky Jedi]

I will gladly play any of them if anyone else wants to participate.

Timeline: this takes place just before Jims game (this game explains what Rage and the Characters you guys select are doing while you guys have your game)

Kahn: The prime was destroyed...and Captian Farrel just died as well from his wounds. He didn't make it like I told you earlier...anyways...
With the threat on the Skywalkers and the other "Prime reminents" on the other side of a galaxy on another mission....you wont be getting any "official support"

Anakin: Don't fail me Firestalker.

Rage: Any recommendations? I don't even know where to start?

Kahn:The Vex Force is RUMORED to favor a Spacebar on the next system over, one of the members is RUMORED to have a crush on a female dancer there. I would start there. Also as for a team...kel still has a contract with the NR...but he hasn't been given an assignment since that diplomatic escort run we sent him on after you last parted ways with him. He has been without another assignment for a few weeks now and his ship should be arriving...
Also their are a few others who you could possibly get assistance from...

Rage: I guess I better assemble my team....I really only have 4 people that I can think of as an option....

My preference of characters. I want to wait for everyone else to pick first. But after today if no one chooses I will make my selection.

1. Joel / Shane [Sneaky Jedi]

2. Nathan [Jenesari Defender - Some background - This character is the liaison to the Jenesari order in which we are trying to establish diplomatic relations with. He is part of the Falcon Clan (not official cannon) and enemies with the Tiger Clan.]
