	Because World of Warcraft has been the leading culprit in dumbing down the genre to make it easy enough for the mainstream audience who has never heard of an MMO before to hop in and enjoy. Now, this isn't necessarily bad. But the soaring popularity of World of Warcraft has pigeonholed the entire industry into creating clones in order to be successful.

((To avoid any confusion the X Wing was a loaner but a request was sent to get you your own))

When I am a guest at a convention I am there to entertain people and add to the fun they have at the event. thus, unless the game session is advertised as one where the objective is to kill the PCs--and I've done a few of those--I try to keep PCs alive. Of course if a player doesn't want to have his character survive, the natural selection process of the game environment will take over.

Rage: "It's been a while since I have spoken with my commanding officer...with Kahn so occupied in his new deliberations with the main fleets movements on the Pinnacle and Farrel on patrol runs and me on the Jedi consul im surprised Farrel has kept my commission on his ship...
he is probably just happy Kahn is too busy to assume command of the flagship again..."

(Turns to Kel)

Rage: "So kel that was you on the comm-link? You seem like kind of gruff crowd to be working with us...but then again..a Sith is on the Jedi consul and I am recently responsible for the death of new republic soldiers. I guess you fit right in! " (extends a hand for Kel to shake)

With a shrug and a nod, Kheldim replies to Rage, "It would seem so.". Then he accepts the offered handshake. "I am still not sure where I fit into all of this, but for now I have a warm bed, three squares a day and the chance to kill imperials. That's better than my fortunes were only a few days ago and that's fine with me."

By the way I guess your reporting to Admiral kahn, but you get out of reporting to Farrel since your not stationed on the prime.
