The Cave: For Rage

[dan]

Once we are past the Gorgodons, you reach the cave. Sabby points Rory down the left tunnel and gives him a moment to get into the cave as he approaches Rage.

Sabby: "In this bag is everything you need, except for the crystal, to build your own lightsaber. Your Jedi trials begin now. To complete this part of the trials, you must go find a crystal in the caves, and build your lightsaber. Once you are done, you are to return to the entrance to find me. The only thing in the cave, is what you take in with you."

You start off and head down the middle tunnel that Sabby pointed out to you, the bag of lightsaber parts now in your pack.

What do you do?

Rage looks back at his master one last time.....

"I will not fail you...not this time"

I take off into the darkness at a brisk pace...trying to seem like he knows what he is going to do...when he really doesnt have a clue...

You walk into the cave and its completely dark. You can focus yourself some and see in the dark. There is a path off to the right and straight ahead. Which way do you go?

[Bob]

If one is wider then the other or better lit i take that one, otherwise i go straight.

[Bob]

Rage: "hmm..wonder whats down this way..."

[dan]

You walk straight ahead and the path twists and turns until it comes to a dead end. You look around and see something glowing in a crack ahead.

[Bob]

peer into the crack...

[dan]

You see what looks like some crystals, just out of your reach if you were to reach in.

[Bob]

I try to use move object on the cyrstals.

"Master Sabby is gonna be so impressed when I finish this challenge so quickly. "

[dan]

The crystals do not move. You hear foot steps coming up behind you.

[Bob]

Turn around, crouch so i am hidden until I see what it is...

[dan]

Your former master walks up to you. "So, you've gone to the dark side." He activates his lightsaber and raises it to an attack position. "And for that, I shall strike you down."

[Bob]

"Master Jor-kan...am I dead...."


*Rage is unable to move...in shock of what he is seeing..*

[dan]

Danimal 924 (4:00:18 PM): Master Jor-Kan looks at you, "You are not dead yet. Sith."
jawsomebob (4:01:18 PM): "You should be...no offense...but I watched you die.."
Danimal 924 (4:01:42 PM): "You assume much, sith."
jawsomebob (4:02:28 PM): "So you gonna kill me? Im right here"
Danimal 924 (4:03:39 PM): As he moves in to attack, a red glow appears in his chest as the end of a saber pushs though him. It holds there a moment, a breath of air in Jor-Kan's lungs escapes. The saber pulls back and he crumples to his knees.
jawsomebob (4:04:54 PM): do I see the saber's owner?
Danimal 924 (4:05:24 PM): not as of yet. the saber was turned off, thats how he fell down
jawsomebob (4:05:48 PM): Is my former master dead on the ground?
Danimal 924 (4:05:59 PM): hes groaning, calling your name.
jawsomebob (4:07:10 PM): I say this "Sabby is that you?" ((it only makes sense to Rage for this)) To my former master: "My master would of never tried to attack me...who are you?"
jawsomebob (4:07:43 PM): ((Rage thinks sabby is the killer of Jor-Kan))
Danimal 924 (4:08:20 PM): The man who steps out of the shadows is Sabby, but not as he is now, but he looks more like he did the day he killed your master. Same clothing, saber etc
Danimal 924 (4:09:14 PM): "The name is Lord Calumitus. Dark Lord of the Sith. You will treat me with respect Jedi Scum, or face the same fate as this one."
jawsomebob (4:10:58 PM): "According to this one I am not a Jedi"
jawsomebob (4:11:08 PM): "And according to others you are"
jawsomebob (4:11:20 PM): "Just thought you would like to know that"
jawsomebob (4:12:01 PM): "You are indeed the man who murdered my master before my eyes..."

jawsomebob (4:16:43 PM): "I will do anything that master Sabby asks. Nothing more. You dont claim to be sabby. But if you are, I am already your apprentice."
Danimal 924 (4:17:13 PM): "Then kneel down before me apprentice."

I havent always delivered...like at the ship" He looks at the ground then up at whatever it is that he is kneeling before
Danimal 924 (4:26:05 PM): He ignites his saber, and lowers it slowly on each of your shoulders, you feel your skin burning slightly as it touchs
jawsomebob (4:26:52 PM): "Thats gonna leave a mark.."
jawsomebob (4:27:45 PM): rage rises when its safe
Danimal 924 (4:28:10 PM): As you start to rise, Rory steps into the room. "What have you done...You've doomed us all."
jawsomebob (4:28:24 PM): "is that Sabby?"
jawsomebob (4:28:31 PM): puts to sabby
jawsomebob (4:28:36 PM): points to sabby?
Danimal 924 (4:28:40 PM): "Apprentice, kill him."
jawsomebob (4:29:00 PM): "Do you even know his name?"
jawsomebob (4:29:17 PM): To rory: "Is that Sabby?"
Danimal 924 (4:29:31 PM): ((one sec, phone))
jawsomebob (4:29:52 PM): to sabby: "Do you know the name of the person i am to kill?"
jawsomebob (4:29:56 PM): ((ok))
Danimal 924 (4:31:23 PM): "You my apprentice, are Rage Firestalker, I'm ordering you to kill Rory Umgelder. Do not fail me."
jawsomebob (4:32:14 PM): To Rory: "You must kill me...and Sabby...we have gone to the darkside...do it now."
jawsomebob (4:32:24 PM): rage does nothing
Danimal 924 (4:33:16 PM): Rory charges at Lord Calumitus, his saber drawn. Their sabers meet as the battle begins. Blades just missing each other.
jawsomebob (4:33:35 PM): I book it
jawsomebob (4:33:40 PM): outta there
Danimal 924 (4:33:48 PM): Rory swings at you as you start to run.
jawsomebob (4:33:49 PM): and let them fight assuming I can escape
Danimal 924 (4:33:57 PM): he just misses
jawsomebob (4:34:15 PM): I draw my saber for defensive purposes only...
Danimal 924 (4:34:59 PM): Rory takes turns attacking and blocking both you and Lord Calumitus. Rory is standing between you and Lord Calumitus.
jawsomebob (4:36:51 PM): I try to send a message to sabby: "Master I am scared"
Danimal 924 (4:37:59 PM): You get no responce. Rory takes the moment you concentrate to send a message and lungs at you, he just barely misses. The attack left him open for one from Lord Calumitus. Rorys saber drops from his hand and bounces on the floor, his hands reach up for his neck.
jawsomebob (4:39:03 PM): I swing at Lord Calumitus with the blunt end of my saber to knock him out. "Just to make thinks less confusing..."
jawsomebob (4:39:20 PM): aka saber handle
Danimal 924 (4:39:34 PM): The moment your handle gets close, he swings with his saber and cuts it in half.
jawsomebob (4:41:40 PM): I try to use force slam to knock them both prone and run...
Danimal 924 (4:41:44 PM): Rory falls to the ground not moving. Lord Calumitus looks at you and you feel your throat tighten. "Insolent fool. I should have let the Jedi Scum kill you."
jawsomebob (4:42:24 PM): "You are not my master..."
jawsomebob (4:42:45 PM): if i can do any attack such as move object or force slam I do it
jawsomebob (4:42:53 PM): otherwise i just let it happen
Danimal 924 (4:42:56 PM): You fall to the floor, and pass out.
jawsomebob (4:43:36 PM): do i ever wake up?
Danimal 924 (4:43:54 PM): You wake up some time later, curled up on the floor, covered in sweat
jawsomebob (4:44:31 PM): anything around me. Is my saber still destroyed?
Danimal 924 (4:44:41 PM): you can't find it
jawsomebob (4:45:10 PM): can i see anything at all?
Danimal 924 (4:45:36 PM): yep. your in the same spot where you were fighting. there is no glow from the crack anymore
jawsomebob (4:46:10 PM): ok...well I get up and look inside the crack anyways...if nothing is there I leave back the way I came...
Danimal 924 (4:46:37 PM): You come to the fork in the tunnel.
jawsomebob (4:48:09 PM): I guess ill go the other way...that i havent tried yet...
Danimal 924 (4:48:40 PM): You go deeper into the cave then you had before. You come across a light just around a corner
jawsomebob (4:49:54 PM): I approach around the corner slowly and as sneakly as possible...
jawsomebob (4:50:12 PM): ((please tell me you did not destroy my origonal saber lol))
Danimal 924 (4:50:14 PM): There is a small fire in the center of the room. along with a slight glow
Danimal 924 (4:50:21 PM): ((Only time will tell :-P ))
jawsomebob (4:51:14 PM): Anything else in the room but a fire?
Danimal 924 (4:51:33 PM): You see a few crystals along the base of the wall
jawsomebob (4:52:18 PM): Rage approaches the Crystals to see what will happen. He ignores the fire...he doesnt feel like resting...
Danimal 924 (4:53:39 PM): You see them, they glow slightly
jawsomebob (4:54:19 PM): I will try to pick them up.
Danimal 924 (4:54:32 PM): they are still attached to the ground.
jawsomebob (4:55:03 PM): I will go ponder this by the fire for a while

[Bob]

Rage at the fire: "What do I do now? Am I passing this test or failing..."

Rage looks at the flames....

"I will do my best...I will do my best..I will do my best..."
