Because World of Warcraft has been the leading culprit in dumbing down the genre to make it easy enough for the mainstream audience who has never heard of an MMO before to hop in and enjoy. Now, this isn't necessarily bad. But the soaring popularity of World of Warcraft has pigeonholed the entire industry into creating clones in order to be successful.

You notice the A5 lurch over the hill in front of you knocking trees down as it goes. 20 storm troopers follow up closely behind it then spread out. One of them points to a poorly hidden New Republic soldier and opens fire.

For their turn the A5 fires into the area where the NR troops are then speeds off to turn around. The troops advance on the one New Republic soldier. Luke jumps out and starts swining at the troopers. Both NR soldiers open fire. Jibby Yo emerges from a tree with an e web (fully secured to the tree) and opens fire.

During the exchange three stormtroopers are down, one new republic soldier and luke is hit once.

Sabby can't answer and Rory replies with, sorry too busy to chat.

When I am a guest at a convention I am there to entertain people and add to the fun they have at the event. thus, unless the game session is advertised as one where the objective is to kill the PCs--and I've done a few of those--I try to keep PCs alive. Of course if a player doesn't want to have his character survive, the natural selection process of the game environment will take over.

If they are then SABER slash.

Lets hit the ultra fast forward button because tactical combat on the forum is hard to do and slow.

All the stormtroopers are out, as well as the new republic soldiers. You and Luke are lightly wounded and the A5 has some slight damage. The A5 turns as fast as it can, which isn't very fast, then takes off. You can clearly see the trail of smoke from the damage it took.

I get up and pick up one of the stormtroopers rifles and start shooting at the A5 it as it flys away ((I know I dont have the talent yet but its a ROLEPLAYING move that isnt meant to do any damage and to lead into me having the talent at level 7, which I will. Dan if you havent heard yet im adding a solder muticlass to my next level so i can use rifles :-) ))

The A5 doesn't fly btw it is a ground vehicle with big wheels.

*Then i shoot it as it drives away and then obvouisly add the rifle to my equiptment for when i level up*

*First I check the fallen if any are alive then i revive them if I can if they are imperil I cuff them if they are new republic then i ask them what they need *
