Since no one posted, I'm just going to say you all stood there and did nothing during that round, this is what the ghost did that round. The ghosts eyes beging to glow a very erir green and he then disapears. Tank looks down at Bane then falls off the ladder trying to hit Bane with an elbow drop. Next round: I need declarations and initiatives.Tank is falling to hit bane, the ghost disapeared. Rage: "is tank possessed by that ghost or is he just a looney? Bane look out! " ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INT 8 Declarations: rage is going to board the unknown ship. He cant do much to help Bane if Tank hits therefor he wants to have good footing on the ship for a "Run and Jump" counterattack on Tank of needed next round.

Bane will dodge out of the way of Tank, and get ready to blast any ghost he sees up on the ship.
Roll will be done later in a chat or at game tomorrow

Last night we had a quick talk about the unwinnable battle and what happened afterwards.
Bob’s guy called up Tony Stark who sent out his bodyguard Iron Man with some experimental weapons he wanted to have someone test.
Rules for the roll: Bob’s guy popularity is GD12 the roll is raised 2CS due to it will benefit Stark. The benefit is that Stark gets to have someone use his test weapons in the field. The roll is shifted back down 2CS due to the cost of the items. The roll is raised again one more CS because Iron Man (Who is part of the Avengers with Thor) is looking for Thor and we were the last to see him. The roll is rolled on EX22 and Bob rolled a 54 which is a high enough roll for Iron Man to show in on behalf of Tony Stark.
In game we heard the familiar rocket sounds when we were at the police station. Thinking it was Big Red we rushed out to see Iron Man land in front of us. He explained he is there on behalf of Stark, has some experimental weapons for us to try, and is looking for Thor.
Tank/Bane explained that Thor was last seen the other day and said that Thor has been busy fighting a civil war in Asgard. Some of the civil war has spilled over to Midgard (Earth) with the revelation that the two werewolves (Dan and the big one that Bob hasn’t met yet) are descendants of Geri and Freki, Odin's two wolves.
Iron Man said he will be in the area and to use a communicator to contact him if you need help (he gives us one). He leaves a case with some weapons in it. I have not decided fully what the weapons will do, but here is the current idea.
There are four weapons that look like brass knuckles. Their use is obvious and will do strength damage of the person wearing them. However, each “knuckle” only has a four charges or attacks. To recharge them takes a full 24 hours.
There are two guns that do EX20 damage and have six shots each per clip. The shots are pure anti ectoplasmic energy and the clips can be recharged in 12 hours. There are a total of 4 clips. Don’t cross the streams!
He also gave us two boxes that are designed to be traps. They act just like the ones in Ghostbusters with a few differences. Theses traps only have one shot each and can never be recharged. They shoot out a beam that holds the ghost and brings it into the trap. Just like the old video games. The intensity for the beam is only GD10 and to make things easy on the rules we will use health points to determine if the ghost is captured. For example if a ghost is at 60 HP then the trap won’t be able to hold the ghost, if the ghost is at 10 or below, the ghost is captured. I know that the players will not know the exact HP of the enemy so what I’m trying to accomplish is that we will lower the ghosts enough but not enough to “kill” them. The use of the trap will be a best guess and I want to try and make the guessing as a source for drama.
For the battle we don’t get any Karma. We gained 20 for completion of an encounter but then lost 20 for a defeat.
For the Iron Man stuff, I’m giving everyone 10 karma.

About an hour of waiting in the police station for word on Willie's whereabouts Iron Man returns. He looks around cautiously then starts talking.
Iron Man:” I just got word from Tony Stark. His plans have changed and he will be here tomorrow night for a policeman’s ball fundraiser for the families of fallen police officers. Since you were the ones that fought off the other werewolf and found those fallen officers in the goonie cave, you are invited. It will take place tomorrow night at 8PM in Seattle”
((Per the Rules:
Personal appearance involves the hero showing up for a function the proceeds of which will be donated to a worthy cause. A charity will request or accept this type of work on a red Popularity FEAT, mainly because such charities are often used as targets at which super-powered foes get even with and humiliate the hero. The hero who makes a charity appearance will receive Karma points equal to his Popularity rank number (maximum of 20). No more than one charity appearance per week per hero or group can be counted in this fashion.
I’m going to keep to that rule; however I’m going to mod it to hell. We are each rolling a popularity feat check, but we are getting a +1CS because I said so, another +2CS because we are officially invited and another +1CS because it will benefit us, another +1CS because Stark is an ally. So we are rolling on a +5CS.
I personally find this rule to be a little silly. On one side yes the chances are high the bad guys will jump you, but if you look at the karma system you will either gain some karma for attending or lose if for not fulfilling your commitments. A single die roll shouldn't have that much of a swing with karma. So since I'm the GM lets make it a yellow result not a red. ))
Roll A popularity check with a +5CS. Looking for a yellow result of better

Tank to Thunder Vig: "Looks like you have the balls to go to the balls...Oh wait, that didn't sound right. I am hoping there might be some fighting to do. I just want to go to crack some beers and drink some skulls. Uh, you know what I mean."
((Our formal attire is being provided by the police. Tank wears instead one of those T shirts that looks like a suit. Dan still needs to roll.))

((They bring you a custom suit and say you can still wear the helmet, or perhapes some type of face mask or something. Phantom of the Opera style. They really don't care if you don't want to wear any of it. They understand your desire to keep your anonymity.))

Bane will get the suit with a silk shirt, and will wear it. He plans to keep it for other special occasions as long as nothing happens that might destroy it. He looks over at Ironman.
Bane: "So how are we going to get to Seattle? None of us have a car that I know of at least."

Iron Man: "Stark is sending a limo."
He looks at the four of us and shakes his head.
Iron Man: "You guys look silly; maybe we should make this a costume ball, any objections?
