When I am a guest at a convention I am there to entertain people and add to the fun they have at the event. thus, unless the game session is advertised as one where the objective is to kill the PCs--and I've done a few of those--I try to keep PCs alive. Of course if a player doesn't want to have his character survive, the natural selection process of the game environment will take over.

Here are my thoughts and ideas for this week.

May 23rd. I don’t know what is going on. I’d like to game but also this is the day before my Dad’s birthday and considering what just happened I may be spending my time with my family. I will ask the wife tonight.

Also, Bob isn’t sure if he will be available for Sunday the 23rd.

If we can’t do anything on the 23rd then I’d like to see what Dan’s brother is doing for the night of the 22nd.

For Rich (Dan’s Brother) game, what level is everyone?

Because World of Warcraft has been the leading culprit in dumbing down the genre to make it easy enough for the mainstream audience who has never heard of an MMO before to hop in and enjoy. Now, this isn't necessarily bad. But the soaring popularity of World of Warcraft has pigeonholed the entire industry into creating clones in order to be successful.

Ok, here is a tenative plan:

May 23rd isn't good, I'm spending the day with my family.
May 30th - Possible depending on everyone's ability to play the day before memorial day.
Jun 6 - My wedding aniversary.

So then here is another issue. Bob is trying to get his hours changed after we lost a bunch of guys. He is trying to get off earlier. That means if he does it will open up Saturday nights. But then Dan's brother is running games on Saturday nights.

Ugh - getting old sucks. joebrender said it best in a PM... It isn't like when we were younger and could play on Friday for 20-30 hours during the weekend.

I miss those days a bit.

I checked it out last night. We should for sure have a game there.
